New Delhi, Feb 17: With the declaration of over 1 lakh jobs in Indian railways, there will be some sign of relief for massive number of unemployed and under-employed youths and citizens of India. Railways has created post starting from lower level till the topmost position. Indian Railways is known for recruiting the maximum number of people in the country. In this current notification, Railways has come with openings for around 63,000 jobs in Group D category which even has gangmen and other openings of around 26,500 personal are for loco pilots and assistant loco pilots.

Railway recruitment: How to apply for the jobs?

– Visit the official website of Railway Recruitment Board

– Click on the jobs notification. Select your current location.

– On the next page, add details in the respective fields, along with your image.

– After filling all the details, click on the submit button.

The minimum criteria for these openings are high school pass and ITI diploma. The last for submission of this application is March 12, 2018. Indian Railways currently has a workforce of 13 lakh employees. To add icing on the cake, the national transporter has also 1.2 lakh positions vacant related to safety and there are need for more and more gangmen.

Even the current Union Budget 2018-19 has stated that Government infrastructural projects like building of railway tracks, national highways and social welfare schemes like “Swachh Bharat” mission will create additional jobs.

This latest railway job recruitment notification has given the ruling government to defend the criticism from the opposition, as opposition have raised this topic of unemployment in the country every now and then in their respective rallies. Also there are allegations that our country’s economic growth is not moving hand in hand along with the jobs creation.

Hence, there are hope that the ruling Government in power might come over this major issue of unemployment.
