Algeria legislative elections 2017: List of candidates from El Taref, Tindouf, Tissemsilt; Current deputies

Algiers, May 3: Elections in Algeria for the Lower House Parliament will be held on 4th May,2017. Polling would be held across 48 provinces for 462 assembly seats. Parties have already submitted their list of candidates for El Taref, Tindouf and Tissemsilt.The major contest in these provinces would be between National Liberation Front (FLN) and National Democratic Rally (RND).

El Taref wilaya has 7 districts and 24 communes with the population of 408,414.Tindouf province comprise of only one district and 2 communes with a very small population of 49,149.Tissemsilt province has 8 districts and 22 communes with the population of 294,476.El Taref, Tindouf and Tissemsilt contributes 5 seats each in the National Assembly.

Vote counting will be taken care by scrutinizers, under the watch of the polling station officials. Scrutinizers are designated by polling station officials from among registered voters, in the presence of candidate representatives.
